Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

You can get away from everything while experiencing all that Laurel has to offer. FUN FACT: The main bedroom features 2 bathrooms, a 'his' and 'hers'. If you ever wondered if separate bathrooms were worth it, they are! You will just love visiting Laurel.

Covered parking near the entry. The Magnolia Guesthouse was featured on HGTV’s Home Town S5, Ep12. Sadly, wasn't chosen, but we did a full remodel shortly thereafter. Woodland Cottages- Sycamore top 1% places to stay

Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants inLaurel from this cozy cottage. Our home was featured on HGTV’s HomeTown. While we live in the main house, we had Katie (contractor on show) remodel the two rooms behind us as guest rooms. We have added carvings to the landscape, a whole house generator, and a few places to sit and enjoy the outside. Our episode was called Woodland Wonderland, but better known as the Hobbit House. Set on a hillside overlooking one of Laurel's prominent avenues, 7th Avenue Manor offers 5 bedrooms and 3+ baths. Cozy up around the outdoor fireplace or enjoy a cup of coffee on the secluded morning patio. While outside, boards are also available to test your corn hole skills. Just inside you will find a large dining room, spacious kitchen, and large laundry. This house retains the 1930's character, but has been beautifully renovated to offer today's conveniences.
