Stylish Rural Retreat with Hot Tub and Fire Pit

Nestled in the quiet countryside of South Down, the Goat House Retreat is set on a small holding where 5 bedrooms serve as self-catering accommodation for up to 8 people. A historic stone barn houses a stylish vault-ceiling lounge & kitchen. Additionally, there is a hot tub for 6 people, a large fire pit & a bakery basket included. Our site is not suitable for children & infants. Pricing is based on 2 people sharing a twin/double ensuite. Bookings of 7+ have access to the Shepherds Hut.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

“The Meadow” is a quaint, rustic Shepherd’s Hut located in a meadow at Ballymartrim Wood. The hut features a double bed, wood burning stove, gas hob, storage space, solar lighting and a patio. There is a BBQ and fire pit and a toilet close by.
