The front porch overlooks the creek. The outdoor area includes a gazebbo, propane grill, table and firepit. Enjoy exploring the creek. The area is close to multiple outdoor gems including the Black River, Taum Sauk Mountain, Sam Baker State Park. There is no kitchen, but there is a mini-fridge and microwave.

Included with stay is a private pavilion located on the crystal clear Black River less than a mile away. If floating of any kind is on your agenda, free shuttle to the house is available from some of the local campgrounds when you use them to navigate the black river. This home is just minutes away from Johnson's Shut Ins State Park and Elephant Rocks.

Our cabin is fairly secluded. The river location is directly across the road from the cabin. There some light traffic from the locals. Also don't be alarmed if local people stop by, we live in a small town where we know everybody and the people are good to check in and look after our place.
