Our 2-story log cabin (approx. 1,700 sq. ft.) provides plenty of outdoor refreshment with a spacious front porch and back deck with a dual gas/charcoal grill, balcony, wooden swing, and a firepit with plenty of cut firewood. It sits within a private holler on 105 acres along the edge of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The rustic-chic decor inside combines antique furnishings, repurposed barn wood paneling, unique lighting, electric fireplace, and a claw-footed tub amidst modern conveniences.

It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park.

Perfect for two couples, friends, or small families. The Ark Encounter and Kentucky Horse Park are 20min away. The Creation Museum is 45min away. Built in 1894, by the Lakes family, it has a romantic, rustic and nostalgic feel. Hemlock Hideaway at Red River Gorge is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that can sleep up to 10. The cabin features a pool, hot tub, game room, and electric vehicle charger on a private 2.5 acre setting. The home has two king sized beds, three full sized beds, a twin trundle bed, twin sleeper chair and queen sleeper sofa. There is a fully stocked kitchen and free onsite laundry. All of this and so much more and only a 20 minute drive to the Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park area.
