Secluded Stone Cabin w/ Wood-Fired Hot Tub

Peaceful retreat to unplug and unwind. This off‑the‑grid experience has no electricity or flushing toilets, we do provide the essentials: running hot water, an outhouse, and propane lighting. Stay includes access to a handcrafted, wood‑fired hot. (Tub is still under construction. Landscaping and some final details are not finished.) Four-wheel-drive, or high-profile two-wheel drive vehicles are needed to get to the cabin. We must greet guests at arrival to show you how to use the propane lights.

An Ozark Oasis in the middle of a working cattle ranch, this custom designed home offers deluxe comfort. With multiple decks, porches and views out every window, this home is the perfect getaway for romantic retreats, family and friends to relax and make memories, artists and writers to host workshops or retreats, or even the single person to just get away from it all. It is also just a 10 minute drive to Jadwin, MO if canoeing or kayaking is your flavor.

This former dairy barn sits on a farm that has been in our family for 150 years. It was our dream to turn it into a cozy, comfortable home that could be enjoyed by anyone needing a quiet country getaway. We are located close to Big Piney River, with river access from almost any direction, Piney River Brewing Company, Big Piney Sportsman's Club, Mark Twain National Forest and about 45 minutes to hour to several accesses on the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers.

Fullsized fridge with freezer, electric cookstove with oven,big screen TV with netflix, Hulu, etc. New Serta mattress, new hardwood floor, Fast WiFi, Close to town but no neighbors, private entrance. Close to the highway, Off road parking space close to the door. Well mannered pets welcome, ill mannered humans not so much.

This is a cozy riverfront cabin which is 1 of 2 separate cabins located on 25 acres near the "Barn Hollow Natural Area" just 8 miles outside Mountain View Missouri. While looking out over the Jacks Fork river from the cabin you can hear the soothing sound of the river flowing. The river access for swimming, crackling wood burning stove, and hot tub are just some of the many things about this cabin that you are sure to love!
