Enjoy a peaceful read, or raft, swim or tube from our private 'beach'. Relax on our Perch Deck & enjoy the pristine waters and song of the Little North Fork River while sipping coffee, or a glass of Wine & watch the sunset. Play a game of Bocce with your On-site Hosts or relax by the firepit. A tranquil spirit awaits you here at Moonrust.

Joyful Yurt with View of South Santiam River

Drink in the panoramic view of the South Santiam River in our funky yurt! The yurt is fully furnished with a queen sized bed, futon, rocking chair, mini dinette, kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig. Plates, glasses, silverware, bedding, and towels provided. Yurt is located near the main house, yet a privacy courtyard had been created for additional solitude. Hot showers and flushing toilets are in a separate, unheated building about a 3 minute walk away. Glamping at its finest!

Entire Studio -Country setting, quiet and private

Studio has own entrance and is separate from the main house. Studio has its own private bathroom with a shower, and laundry facilities, electric heat in the winter. Air conditioning only in the sleeping area of the bnb in the summer. There is a food prep area with a large sink. There is no oven but several small appliances available for meal prep.Studio sits on 6 acres with nearby hiking trails or towns. Would be nice for the traveling contractor who needs a room for their current local job.

Cob House (Earth Home, Hot Tub, Garden, River)

The Cob House is a one-of-a-kind, hand-built retreat crafted from sand, clay, and straw—just like they did centuries ago. This cozy, retreat offers a peaceful escape into nature with all the comfort & privacy you need to unwind. Inside, with a queen-sized bed, a AC/Heater and coffee & tea & snacks. Sofa bed is NOT recommended for adults. Private, the whole place is yours! No shared walls; our home is behind the cabin. Great for travellers, kayakers, and campers. Enjoy this peaceful and quiet country cottage

The Cottage is located on our 5 acre farm, Rising Star farm. We have dairy goats, chickens and cats. Our house is on the property. Up to 4 guests allowed but best suited for 2 adults and 2 children. Extra $10 per child per night. The Cottage has plenty of parking, a covered patio and a fenced yard with banty chickens. We take great care with our cleaning regimen.
