Renovated in June 2025 to include a full kitchen, this quiet, wooded home is 0.5 miles from DeSoto Falls, 5 miles from Mentone town center, and 4 miles from Desoto State Park. The properties of Mountain Laurel Inn lie on the outskirts of DeSoto State Falls and offer easy access to trails and hiking. Enjoy the fire pit area or coffee on the porch.

Serenity at Little River Canyon

This cabin is located in scenic Little River Canyon. Just a 6 minute walk to Eberhart Point with hiking and swimming and a convenient drive to downtown Fort Payne, Mentone, Desoto State Park and more. Enjoy the large back deck with an outdoor shower along with lake views and a grill. You can fish from the private floating dock. Outside you will find a fire pit with chairs and a swing overlooking the lake. Inside the cabin there is a full kitchen, large living area, and two king size bedrooms.

After a day of hiking, swimming or even rock climbing come back to RNR retreat and take a nap on the swinging porch bed or sit by the firepit. Perfect for a couple but can accommodate three. The cabin has a queen bed and has an ottoman that makes a twin bed. This property is NOT pet friendly. Smoking is not permitted inside cabin.
