Both LSU stadium and downtown are only 25 minutes away; New Orleans in an hour away! (The home beside is also available, the second next door but must be booked separately. Can sleep four with two per bed but better with just two. 2 miles from I10 exit 173, 2 miles from Airline Hwy (US 61) Just 60 miles from downtown New Orleans, 15 minutes from Baton Rouge. 8 miles from Lamar Dixon Expo center. Close to fine dining or fast food. The Rustic cottage is in the back of our property. It has a privacy fence, but is not completely fenced. Nice covered deck with large TV and carport

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.

The Blue Heron Guest House-6 acres on the bayou.

Take it easy at this unique getaway. Located on Bayou Manchac on a gated 6 acre estate. The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
