Moel y Don is a beautiful waterfront cottage set right on the edge of the Menai Strait Wake up to the sound of the water, enjoy quiet evenings under big skies, and feel completely immersed in nature. Perfectly positioned just minutes from sandy beaches and on the coastal path. We’re only 5 minutes from the A55 making Moel y Don an ideal base for exploring the very best of Anglesey & Eryri. Davies Cottage, cosy, comfortable base

A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. It has wifi, good quality beds and bedding and a full bathroom, with lots of towels! The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ffynnongroew was a mining village, with 2 pubs a few minutes walk away, along with a take away, Post Office and small convenience store. DOGS ALLOWED, NO CATS.

Mezzanine bedroom with a very low ceiling height, you are not able to stand in the mezzanine, but it is accessed by stairs and it is recommended if you may have access issues, then there is a pull out double sofa-bed that can be used as an alternative. Fabulous views of Snowdonia. Internet access and Smart TV with Netflix, iPlayer and more. 20m from the Anglesey costal path, where fabulous walks and a deserted beach are seconds away.
