A safe place to retreat from the world, and reconnect with nature, over two miles from the main road. Relaxing in the private garden listen to owls hooting or cuckoos calling. Walking from the door leads you to an old drovers track, or higher up through bilberry scrub to Cnicht, the Welsh Matterhorn, or along lanes and paths to secluded swimming spots in rivers and lakes.

Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. The living area and kitchen are on the level below, which is the 2nd floor of the building. Windows either side for views of town and country. Bathroom on this floor. Bath with shower attachment. Space and light and sense of privacy, and very, very handy for town's amenities.
