The stag Hut has been created with a passion for the animal that often roams the fields that surround the shepherds hut. Steeped in history the local area offers numerous opportunities to delve into Scotland's past by visiting such sites as Culloden Moor, Clava Cairns and the many castles and brochs.

Urquhart Bay Barn

Urquhart Bay Barn, situated at the Urquhart Bay Viewpoint, is a charming and spacious self-catering renovation, with two bedrooms (one can be either two single beds or a king size bed), completed to a very high standard, with stunning views across Loch Ness and Glen Urquhart from the dining area window and gardens. We are just a few minutes walk from the iconic Urquhart Castle. The Barn itself is built with stone taken from Urquhart Castle in the late 1800s.

Oakwood Hide is a bespoke studio, self contained cabin set within our family garden/wood, just outside Drumnadrochit, close to Loch Ness. The cabin has a very welcoming, light airy feel and is perfect for those looking to relax, enjoy the views and take some much needed time for themselves, whilst also being the perfect base for those wanting to enjoy the walks, mountain biking, fishing, bird watching and all that the Glens and the Highlands have to offer.

Unlike many Loch Ness cottages, we are not on a road, just the garden between us and the Loch. Relax at this peaceful place to stay which is a short walk from Loch Ness beach access or onto the Great Glen Way and fall asleep to the Port Clair burn beside you. The private garden area with bistro furniture which also overlooks the burn and is at the bottom of the trail up to the Great Glen Way. Parking for your car is in the marked bay as you approach the She[herds Hut on the left..
