Round Pond Lodging - Eagle's Nest

This cabin is just part of our business which is called Round Pond Lodging, where we offer deer and turkey hunts during the season. Another plus to our property is that we are just minutes away from the Shawnee National Forest, Ohio River, Harrah's Casino, and Paducah KY home of the AQS Quilt Show. Every property we have offers a view of the quiet, beautiful, scenery that we call home. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Once a laundromat, the history is in the details, built in 1928 it now has been turned into a beautiful lodge. Stay and relax by the river or explore nearby attractions and sightseeing- From Garden of the Gods, hiking the Shawnee National Forest to Cave-in-Rock, located right on the Ohio Scenic Byway. The Riverside Lodge is a hop, skip and jump to all things Southern Illinois.

We also packed as many amenities as we could into this property including an oversized 6-Person hot tub, 500 MBPS fiber internet, outdoor tv, fire pit table, Weber grill, hammock swings, custom bathroom with rainfall shower, full kitchen, coffee bar, king & queen sized beds, bean bag toss, board games and much more!

Beck's Hideaway at Dixon Springs

We might call this place a hideaway but the nearby activities and amenities are too numerous to list! Enjoy the secluded forest location surrounded by towering trees, abundant wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Our cabin is just minutes away from the Trail of Tears, Dixon Springs State Park, the delicious Chocolate Factory, the towns of Golconda, Metropolis, and the bigger city of Paducah. NEW IN OCTOBER 2021: We have installed high-speed fiber optic WiFi to the cabin.

Seclusion with the Lake a step away....

It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

Garden of the Gods, Rim Rock, Iron Furnace, and One Horse Gap are just a few that are minutes away. Feel free to fish in the ponds(catch and release), or relax on the porch after the days adventure. Accommodations for indoor storage of motorcycles or a topless jeep are available on the property upon request.

We're conveniently located in the middle of a no hotel/motel area. Lake Barkley and Venture River in Eddyville are just a short 20 min drive away!
