On the ground floor, guests enjoy a cosy living room featuring a wood burning fireplace and a generous, well equiped kitchen with dining table overlooking a private garden, as well as laundry facilities and a second WC. Upstairs, the two generous bedrooms share a bathroom and feature queen sized beds. With off street parking and local village amenities only a short stroll away, the cottage is less than 6kms from the airport

The classy, well-stocked library has a comfy sofa, and a dedicated workspace with desk and chair. A sunny deck beckons. Fast wifi and quality Smart TV with streaming services are available. Self contained cottage. Dog friendly. 2N min Wifi and internet, TV, 1 Queen bed; Twin singles; accessible shower toilet. kitchen, laundry, heater. Close to airport. Centrally located for fly fishing, hiking, cycling. Biker friendly. Sit at the outside setting and enjoy the view. Kitchen has 2 bar stools. Bread, milk, tea and coffee provided. Booking fee for 1 bedroom use only max 2 people. Second bedroom use incurs extra fees $25 per single bed use. 4 people will cost $200 pp.

Briar Lane House

Briar Lane House offers country homestead accommodation in the heart of historic Evandale village. Situated on 5 acres, amongst manicured gardens, we are the perfect base from which to explore Northern Tasmania, or just rest and unwind. Breakfast provisions are provided including bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, a selection of cereals and jams. There is also a second house at Briar Lane which houses Suites 1 and 2. It is separated from the main homestead by the rose garden.

Being an Uber Driver Patrick also offers great value Airport pickup/drop-off and local taxi service

The Roundhouse : Rainforest & Mountains

The Roundhouse is located in a place of spectacular beauty, with views of Quamby Bluff and the Great Western Tiers on all sides. The property is surrounded by World Heritage Rainforest which is a result of the protracted Jackeys Marsh Forest Protests. The fresh air, crystal clear water, abundant wildlife and pristine environment are all environmental values prized by the people of Jackeys Marsh. We would now like to share our unique heritage with the rest of the world.

Platypus Cove - smoke free residence

2 bedroom self contained unit, with disability access, located in a peaceful, tranquil setting. A short stroll to the river bank where you can look for our resident platypus and other wildlife. Bring your fishing gear for a spot of fishing (fishing licence required) or bring your canoe for a leisurely paddle. Ample parking on site. 5 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to the city and an easy drive to the historical villages of Perth, Evandale and Longford.

Old Farm Cottage - Brickendon

Old Farm Cottage circa 1830 is located in the heart of the original Convict Farm Village at Brickendon, this delightful cottage, recently restored offers comfortable modern amenities in a heritage setting. Continental breakfast provisions included. This gorgeous heritage cottage is truly stunning, most guests that stay here fall in love with it! The cottage is a short 5 minutes drive (approximately 3kms) from Longford township.

The Stable Lofts - Pony

Step inside this historic converted stable, now a charming mudbrick loft and feel the embrace of rustic Tasmanian country life. Surrounded by lush gardens, serenaded by birdsong and visited by wallabies at dusk and dawn, this is a place where time slows down. Cosy up by the fire as night falls and watch the Milky Way light up the sky — the perfect setting for a romantic weekend escape.
