“Serenity on Sibley” Guesthouse~Close to Downtown

Down the winding road, at the bottom of the wooded hill, “Serenity” awaits. This single-room guesthouse sits on the banks of Sibley Lake. Relax and take in the sunsets from the screened porch. Up to 4 guests with a queen-sized bed and a queen fold-out couch. It has a full bath with shower, a kitchenette with island and barstools. Nestled on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, The Red Camp is ready to welcome you to lake views with Spanish moss draped cypress trees and amazing sunsets! Lake is now at full pool and ready for swimming, kayaking, and fishing through the end of July and a bit beyond! The annual drawdown starts usually in late July, so if you are reserving for fall or winter, please inquire as to the Lake level. Cozy 2 bedroom guest house on Caney Lake.

Come enjoy a peaceful getaway on Caney Lake. Our guesthouse is an updated mobile home that is right behind our main house. While the mobile home is not waterfront, we love for our guests to enjoy our floating boathouse and our yard (that is waterfront) with lounge chairs, hammock and a fire pit. Feel free to cast a line! If we are there staying in the main house, we desire for you to feel freedom enjoying these spaces! There are bream and bass galore so bring your fishing pole!

Our comfortable cottage allows you to step right outside and be standing over beautiful Caney Lake. With beautiful views from the dock, best fishing in the state of Louisiana, you feel you are at a relaxing resort on the inside of this property. Tucked away in a quiet cove, this is a true relaxing fishing getaway for the entire family or a great guys weekend away. 1 Queen Bed in bedroom, 2 twin beds and 1 futon sofa that makes into a full bed in the main living area.

The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
