The front porch overlooks a farm field and timber. Walk our trails and skip rocks in Hill Creek. Enjoy the fire pit. Or jump on the Flint Hills Nature Trail - one of the longest rail trails in the US and a favorite for hiking and biking. The FIFA World Cup at Arrowhead is only 110 easy miles away.

Family Friendly Country Home within 10 minutes of downtown Emporia. This home sits back off the main highway just five miles north of Emporia on 12 acres. Quiet and relaxing with a beautiful views, flooded with natural light. 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths upstairs, 2 bedrooms and a full bath downstairs, with additional sleeping areas (not regular bedrooms). Master bedroom equipped with a Tempurpedic mattress. Note: If you wish to park a camper in the driveway additional fee applies.

Please read: I live in the home, so closets / dressers are full. It's not fancy, but cozy and loved. On the edge of town, you get amazing sunset views. This one-stop-sign town is 7-10 miles from Emporia, small, and friendly. You are just blocks away from an amazing restaurant (Rolling Hills) and bar (Harry and Lloyds) - both the best in Lyon County. There is a gas station, bank, and liquor store very close, as well. You are about 10 minutes from a Wal-Mart and fast food.
