Timms Cottage

Timms Cottage is a rustic farm cottage and allows you to relax with an indoor outdoor space giving you breath taking views of Mt Dobson, Fox Peak and our farm. The cottage is situated behind the family homestead within our garden on our farm, providing a peaceful and private setting. We are a working farm. We are 10 km from Fairlie which has some great eating places, 3 km from Lake Opuha and half an hour from Mount Dobson and Fox Peak. Tekapo and Geraldine are only half an hour away.

Our newly built holiday home has been specifically designed so that you can indulge the epic mountain views and incredible night sky stars. Finished to a high standard and located on the outskirts of Twizel, Tussock Fields, offers everything you could desire for your stay in the Mackenzie, space for family and friends, total modern comfort, off street parking for all your vehicles and free wifi. Fully fenced so safe for kids to play & explore. Great for the snow in winter and lakes in summer. 30min to Dobson ski area, 45min to Fox Peak, 50 min to Roundhill. Lake Opuha 10 min. Take a day trip to Lake Tekapo (25min) to enjoy Tekapo Springs and Mt John Observatory.

Welcome to our Twizel Bach, this is an original hydro house in the Twizel township, with a recently renovated kitchen, bathroom and double glazed windows to keep you toasty warm in Winter. Pet Friendly and only 5 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Twizel is a beautiful spot with so much to offer, very close to the lakes for boating and fishing, the gorgeous lagoon for swimming and watersports such as paddleboarding, lots of nearby walking and bicycle tracks.

The Brown House

The Brown House was tragically lost in 2020 in New Zealand’s worst fire disaster that devastated the village Award winning architect Lisa Webb who designed the first Brown House was enlisted to design the rebuild. The results are just as stunning This four-bedroom retreat accommodates up to ten guests. Each bedroom offers breathtaking views. The house includes two living areas a dedicated office space, two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen.

With the Fox Peak Ski Field and the North Opuha Conservation Park only 10 minutes drive this home is perfect for those interested in tramping, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding or skiing.
