Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Enjoy those canopy views with a book in hand or wind down in our private sauna and wellness room after exploring the mountains.

Mountain Laurel Retreat offers the perfect getaway and is only minutes from the heart of downtown Highlands. With almost 1800 square feet of living space the home boasts a large open concept kitchen, dining room, and family room that is perfect for gatherings. 3 spacious bedrooms, two of which feature a King/Queen bed with private bathroom. An added bonus is the screened in patio that overlooks the fenced in back yard that is ideal for kids and pets to play.

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.
