Mary went above and beyond to accommodate The cabin is adorable with lots of nice touches, and the outdoors areas are simply amazing. The closet kitchen is well supplied . We actually cooked all but two meals during our week-long stay. The bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend "The Bear's Den" for your stay in the Franklin, NC area.

Just minutes from Happs Place, The Local, and Signal Ridge Marina. 15 minutes to the crossroads of Cashiers, 30 minutes to Highlands. 5 minute walk downhill to the neighborhood beach access, 15 minute walk back up (no dock use).

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.
