Private room with a king-sized bed and a double-size sofa bed on the first floor of our hacienda-style home. Our posada is situated on 25 acres of oak-studded California foothills 12 mi. west of Mariposa & 46 miles west of Yosemite Valley (1.5 hr. drive). Private entrance with en suite bath can accommodate three adults or two adults and two children. Breakfast included. LGBTQ-friendly. Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Parks, San Francisco and Monterey Peninsula are all within a 2.5 hr. drive.

Only a 1.5 mile hike to beautiful Corlieu Falls and 8 miles to Bass Lake water sports, picnicking, swimming hiking and dining. Badger Pass in Yosemite offers excellent skiing during the winter months and is only 45 min away. The cabin offers an excellent place to relax after a long day of exploring Yosemite.

Depending on traffic, we are 47 mile drive to Yosemite National Park along the scenic Merced River. Mariposa is a quaint little Gold Rush Town about 20 minutes away. The main part of town is literally 2 blocks long. There is no stoplight in the whole county. Mariposa was the 'Mother of all Counties' once extending all the way to Los Angeles.
