Private cottage on 265 acres with 3 mi. hiking trail, overlooks 2 ponds/playhouse offers complete farm experience. Walk to swimming hole on river, canoe/fish in lake, feed peacocks/ goats, collect fresh eggs. Great sunsets. Fire-pit. Old Rag Cabin is close to hiking trails such as Old Rag Mountain and White Oak Canyon Falls. It is nestled is on 4 secluded, wooded acres in the Blue Ridge mountains. The cabin overlooks a serene pond full of fish. Rose and Robinson rivers are a short walk away. Enjoy hiking, fishing, scenic drives, campfires, wine tasting, civil war battlefields, apple picking, horseback riding and much more. It is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Only 90 min drive from D.C. Unplug!

Modern Farmhouse near Shenandoah Nat'l Park + Lake

Enjoy our secluded 1850s solid brick farmhouse. Completely renovated with modern conveniences, including central AC & super fast, Starlink internet. 5 miles from Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns. A short walk to Lake Arrowhead. We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs, no pet fee. Welcome to Magdeline Cottage located in the heart of Madison County. The cozy cottage was recently renovated in 2022 and is located within White Oak Lake and sits 10 minutes from the Town of Madison. The property is a short drive to hiking trails near Shenandoah National Park. The property is less than 10 minutes from Bald Top Brewery, Early Mountain, and Renback Barn! The property features a fire pit, outdoor seating, and a large living room for gathering. This is not a party house!

Whatever you choose the skyhouse is stocked with roasted coffee, farm-fresh eggs, fresh-baked bread, teas and soaps from our incredible local homesteaders and artisans.

Serenity Lakeview Cottage

Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County.
