We have 5 different golf courses within a 20 minute drive and they are all open to the public ! We are located 30 miles, an easy country drive, to Brookings/SDSU.Our farm is on a paved highway and you can enjoy a quiet walk to a beautiful country church just 1/8 mile away. We have an unattached garage that you can have access to use for a fee,

Guests will enjoy a private 40' dock and the location is a kayaker's and wildlife lover's paradise! Enjoy grilling on the over sized deck, take the 4 available kayaks (2 adult, 2 youth) out to explore the historic Big Stone Islands, or share a campfire in the firepit on the patio! Sportsman's Country Lodge: The Roost in Ortonville

Conveniently located only blocks from the grocery store, bar and grill, and the Ortonville boat ramp and cleaning station. This home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. There is off the street parking, an outdoor outlet and a fish/game cleaning station in the backyard (We ask that you take your fish/game scraps with you for disposal). There is also a great view of Big Stone Lake from the back yard where you can enjoy time around the fire pit.

Little Mill Road House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You can jump on a bike or take a walk on the tarred path located right across the road that leads into the Big Stone Refuge. Ortonville has Big Stone Lake great for fishing and our area is also awesome for hunting. We do allow pets but if left by themselves in the house please kennel them. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed and a murphy bed and futon in the living room. Plenty of parking for boats, trailers, etc.
