The Barn is tucked away in a private courtyard set back on a picturesque and quiet lane that leads towards the village high street. Steeped in history and oozing character, it dates back to the 18th century. Vaulted ceilings and old beams frame the bedrooms which are furnished with an ornate bed/sofa bed/Egyptian cotton bed linen in a combination of dusky pinks/greys all in a shabby chic style. Chandeliers, silk bedspread, Farrow & Ball paint and Bamford Botanical sustainably made toiletries.

Light and spacious apartment in a stand-alone annexe in the grounds of our house, 250m from the River Thames. Modern furniture, TV, wifi, full kitchen, washing machine, freezer. Great location for eating out and for access to countryside. Close to Windsor, Eton, Marlow, Cliveden National Trust and lovely river walks. 5 minutes from Maidenhead station. 10 minutes from The Fat Duck and the Waterside Inn. We are near a railway line. It doesn't bother us at all but you can hear the trains.

We are right on the edge of the beautiful village of Cookham. The accommodation is annexed to the main house and is accessed through a secured side-gate for total privacy. There is also free private parking on the front drive. The room is ideal for people who need to commute (1 hour by train to London, 25 minutes drive to Heathrow), or families who need to have additional accommodation for their loved ones to stay in the area. The cabin is a fun and light filled space, perfect for families or couples. It boasts its own private patio, which leads to a secluded secret garden with an outdoor roll top bath! Inside there is a pool table and Sky TV. It is in the garden of a family home, situated half a mile from Twyford station, allowing easy access to Henley-on-Thames and London via the Elizabeth line.
