Originally built in the early 1900's, the house was dilapidated and not fit for habitation. It was out of passion to restore the building that Muda Blue came about. As the house is protected by the UNESCO World Heritage Site inscription, its structure and facade had to be maintained, which we were happy to do. Teratak Sekuchi is a semi-traditional timber house by the South China Sea. Originally built in KT town, it was relocated in 2007 to Mengabang Telipot, a typical fishing village. Furnished mainly with old wooden furniture and local decorations, it offers a taste of coastal village living with basic modern comforts. There’s no wifi, TV or air-cond. Strictly for private (non commercial) use only by max 6 (+2 y.o) people.

Hundred Year Old Heritage Shophouse (Loft)

Your “entire area” is the top floor of a 3-story shophouse in the heart of Georgetown. Meticulously renovated from an existing birdhouse to its former glory. All renovation was carried out using recycled hard wood and red bricks. The electrical work and water piping are all exposed.
