Situated one block from Town Square, Rothesay Cottage consists of the front rooms of an original 1870s home, moved from Newbury by steam tractor in 1928. The overall style is a hybrid of 1870s and 1920s Art Deco to reflect its history. Your queen room boasts a stunning period bedroom suite complete with ensuite. Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Newly renovated Stables in historic Castlemaine offers an opportunity to escape for a weekend or more! The space: recently renovated, living room & fireplace, gas stove kitchen (no oven) with all you need to consume delicious local produce, lofted bedroom & beautiful bathroom. The Stables is set within a beautiful cottage garden and large gum tree surrounds.
