Casa de las Aves: Toucan Room with outdoor shower

Our small hotel is perched on the edge of beautiful Laguna de Apoyo. It is surrounded by tropical gardens, birds, and nature. We have a beautiful two floor massage space overlooking the laguna. Plenty of room for yoga and hammocks to relax in. We also have a small restaurant offering complimentary breakfast, as well as lunch, dinner, small plates and drinks all day. We offer a vegetarian and vegan menu, and we work with a local farm to provide fresh, organic ingredients whenever possible.

Private Casita. Laguna de Apoyo

A spacious private casita in the natural preserve guesthouse of Casa de las Aves. We have a small hotel on the shore of the laguna. This casita sits above the rest of the rooms. It has two toilets and a large shower for two. The queen bed is super comfortable with two couches which can be used as beds if you have an extra guest! Our restaurant is open from 8-8 and serves delicious locally sourced vegetarian food with a few fish options. Our breakfast is abundant and included in your stay.

Swim in the healing mineral waters, read, bird watch, listen to the howler monkeys, or practice yoga on one of two large terraces. Tropical gardens and fruit trees abound! Our bnb has four fabulous rooms. It offers space, nature, and peace. Massage available upon request. Healthy Nicaraguan breakfast, fresh water, and fruit are included. Our small restaurant serves fresh, local and organic vegetarian meals.
