Walk to the observation bench at the top of the biggest 50 ft waterfall. Follow the trail behind the falls. Sunflower shores is a true log cabin, in a small neighborhood built on the shores of a clean quiet lake in Middle Tennessee. Relax, unwind, have coffee or cocktails on the deck. Swim, fish, take out the canoe or kayak, birdwatch, hike in nearby Savage Gulf or Fall Creek Falls. Go to Chattanooga, take in the sights and come back for an evening by the outdoor fire ring, or inside fireplace. Pick apples at the local orchard or buy Amish goods from the local farms. Unplug and enjoy your life.

Welcome to Sunrise Mt. Cabin is located on top of the Cumberland Plateau with a great view of the valley check out our 2 other cabins Patriot's Retreat & Sunrise Mtn Treeshouse. The cabin has approximately 1400 square feet and is fully furnished with full kitchen and more. Hiking trails and fishing pond only a short walk away. Several major state parks with hikes within a few miles of the cabin. The cabin has fiber optic WiFi which is not shared. Pet cats not allowed; we are allergic.

This little haven is nestled between oak groves & sits on the bank of our pond. Wifi is very weak in the cabin, however, you can access wifi on the porch attached to the main house. Disconnect from the busyness of city life in this country charmer & take time to relax in our hot tub or refresh the soul by the fireside!

The Coalmont Cabin – Romantic Lakefront Escape

The Coalmont is a 4 acre waterfront retreat on top of the South Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee, between Nashville and Chattanooga. This 460 sq ft "tiny" cabin sleeps up to 4. Amenities abound with boats, hot tub, fishing, zip line, lawn games, large decks for gathering, fire pit, and beautiful scenery. This modern, Scandinavian style cabin, sits on 20 private acres at a 1360 ft. elevation. The style sets it apart from other cabins. It is 13 miles from The Caverns concert venue (about a 20 minute drive). The cabin is close to Sewanee, which has many hiking trails and is home to The University of the South (about 7 miles from our cabin/ a 16 minute drive.) Other local hiking and recreation options include the South Cumberland State Park and Tims Ford State Park.

Take a stroll back in time and enjoy the peace and quiet of country living within minutes of town. If you want other things to do, we are located with one hour of Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Chattanooga Aquarium and many other attractions. We also have many state parks, waterfalls, mountain views and swimming attractions close.

Walk out the front door and onto Glenn Falls trail and explore the year-round majesty of Lookout Mountain. 10 minutes from Rock City and Ruby Falls.
