Ducks Paradise

We live on a lifestyle block North of Kaiwaka. The cabin is self contained, having a combined lounge/kitchen/dining; bathroom with shower, toilet and wash basin. A bedroom with two king size single beds. The kitchen has pots, pans, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. There is coffee, tea, milo, milk and sugar. There is also WiFi in the unit. Guests are welcome to wander over our property. We have a non smoking and non vaping policy. Please note: the charge for 1 guest is $75, 2 guests is $125.

Escape to your very own waterfront holiday with the extended family or group of friends. With two houses positioned on the one large section you can enjoy holidaying together yet have your space when needed. We are only 75mins drive north of Auckland, 10 mins off the number one highway. The cottage is built from beautiful untreated hardwoods set in a tranquil private spot, nestled on the edge of a regenerating native forest. The cottage is only a 2min walk down to the beautiful Kaipara Harbour. Our place is part of a 25 year old 300 acre organic permaculture farm, which we were instrumental in setting up as a working farm and village style subdivision.

Overlooking a stunning tranquil lake filled with lotus lilies, the Lotus Cottage is a beautifully decorated fully self contained cottage which is located within the Lotus Estate Property. White peaking and stunning Cayuga ducks float gloriously by in one of the most serene environments you will ever see. A gorgeous covered outdoor dining area, in a country setting. Your own private outdoor double bath house, fire-pit and Japanese tea house on the lake.

Taurikura Peninsula Seaview Private Cabin and Camp

Comfortable self-contained cabin for 2, sitting upon a stunning private hilltop site overlooking Taurikura Bay in Whangarei Heads. Affordable peace, quiet and privacy is our aim (1 night stays available most days). Grass camping site space available (campers #3-8 will need to bring own tent/bed/linen). I can provide made up floor mattresses for guests #3-4 if you are happy to share the small cabin space. Safe ample parking available on site.

Homely timber living area with balcony and fabulous sea views. Step out on to beautiful Picnic Bay. Ideal sheltered swimming area. 3 minutes walk to Surf beach. 4 minutes drive to shops, cafes, championship golf course. Tariff for 2 people is based on them just using the main bed and bathroom upstairs. If an extra bed/bathroom downstairs is required it would incur a separate $100 charge to cover extra laundry and cleaning costs.
