Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Highgales Cottage, Isle of Lewis

Isle of Lewis was ranked fifth the best island in the world (2022). Highgales is a cosy house with dramatic sea views in the picturesque village of Gravir on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. A great base for freshwater loch fishing, birdwatching, hiking, kayaking and exploring the island. Located at the top of a paved, private road Highgales occupies a commanding, elevated position on the northern shore of Loch Odhairn. Enjoy panoramic, breathtaking views of the surrounding sea and mountains.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Mackay House, Isle of Lewis

MacKay House is situated 7 miles from Stornoway on the east coast of the Island in the village of Coll. While enjoying the rural location it is only a 15 minute drive to the town centre which has shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The house, a former crofting house, has recently been refurbished to a high standard to cater for the modern day visitor to this scenic and stunning island. There are beaches from as little as a 10 minute walk from the house. Ample off street car parking.

Fisherman's Cottage

Welcome to fisherman's cottage: a calm space great for families or couples. A former cow byre built in 1850, the cottage is tucked down a lane out of the worst of the winter storms. So whilst the cottage doesn’t have sea views, it overlooks our little woodland nature garden. Just five minutes from Stornaway ferry terminal and bus station, and under ten minutes by car from the airport, this cosy cottage is a great base from which to explore the Isles of Lewis and Harris.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy
