We designed the Rock Room with 6 floor to ceiling windows and an automatic garage door that opens up to a rock wall and your private covered balcony which overlooks national forest on both sides. With several trailheads within walking distance, you'll have easy access to hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, snowshoeing, and horseback riding. Fish in crystal-clear lakes, spot wildlife, and stargaze under the Milky Way in our dark sky community.

Besides enjoying your time at this getaway, venture out to see the Great Sand Dunes National Park and hike the Zapata Waterfall, which are both less than a 10 minute drive from the Modern Cabin. Don't forget to relax in the hot tub after hiking or cozy up by the fireplace. After dark, gaze upward on a clear night for an incredible stargazing opportunity.

Beautiful unique house with a taste of wilderness

This is a peaceful little getaway with a lot of options. The home is nestled in the trees right on the Willow Creek Greenbelt, with a trail, ancient trees, and babbling Willow creek. The greenbelt is accessed from the back of the lot. Amidst the beautiful juniper, piñon, and ponderosa pines on the lot are beautiful mountain views from the back yard and the house. It a perfect place to reconnect with nature. There is a steep staircase (with a sturdy hand rail) to the bedroom to be aware of.

Situated less than 500 ft from Pueblo State Mt Park & a short drives to San Isabelle National Forrest, Bishop Castle, Lake Pueblo & several of Colorado's 14'ers. Use this getaway as a base camp for discovering other Colorado adventures.

Great access to Great Sand Dunes National Park, hot springs, hiking, 14ers, spiritual centers, Alligator Farm, and UFO tower. A short drive to downtown Crestone!

Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Close to the Royal Gorge (35 mins), fishing/white water rafting on the Arkansas River ( 15 mins), skiing at Monarch (1+hr), hot springs in Salida and Mt Princeton and public lands for exploring, hiking, and hunting where you can enjoy Colorado outdoor living and adventures at its finest.

The house was lovingly built with high-beamed ceilings, and decorated with attention to detail for a luxurious yet charming feel. Enjoy stunning views of the mountains and the San Luis Valley. Backing to acres of undeveloped land, this is the perfect getaway!

Windy Ridge Cabin is very peaceful

Windy Ridge Cabin is located in Canon City Colorado. Our non smoking cabin rustic appeal offers a mini fridge, composting toilet, convenient kitchen with basic amenitie. We don’t have shower. Upon request we also offer mindfulness meditation . Perfect for a single guest. We offer free parking. Our neighborhood is very peaceful. We allow one guest only. We allow one pet only not more than 35 lbs(cat not allowed)
