Bourbon Trail Schoolhouse

Enjoy staying in a piece of history within this old one room schoolhouse converted to a two bedroom home. Sit out on the swing or by the firepit as you enjoy peaceful sounds of the country and the creek adjacent to the property. Located right on the Bourbon Trail with only a 5 min drive to Maker’s Mark, 17 min to Limestone, and 20 min to Log Still Distillery. Venture in to the city of Springfield to learn about Abe Lincoln and his parents, married in the courthouse, still being used to this day!

The Farmhouse is on 5.8 acres and is on the historic Bourbon Trail. The house has a master on the main floor with a queen bed connected to the bathroom. Also, bathroom access from the hallway. There is a large upstairs sleeping space that has one queen bed and two twin beds. Beautiful wrap around porch. The Barrel Head is also handicap accessible. There are not any steps, and we have installed a walk in shower for anyone in a wheel chair.

Surrounded by pastures, your only neighbors are the grazing cows. It has 2 wonderful porches, firepit area, renovated garage to hang out in, 320 acres to roam on & 2 fishing ponds. Smoking is allowed outside/2 pet max

We are located in the heart of the bourbon capital of the world. If your looking for a peaceful quiet country night we are the place for you. We offer a queen size bed and small pull out sofa. There are several local attractions we are 6 miles from Makers Mark, 11 miles to Log Still, 3 miles from the XB Arena (Saturday nights Nov-March), and 13 miles to Historic Bardstown to include Heaven Hill. Guests love the interior cabin feel. Main level has a Queen bed. The bonus loft area has a twin bed. This suite is peaceful /private - the most secluded one that we have to offer on the property. The outdoor grill, sink and warming drawer are within reach for ease of cooking. The suite is designed for your comfort with many custom space saving ideas. We desire check in to be very simple. There is a manual lock box with the key. No electronics to depend on. No apps to rely on.
