Pop’s Country Cabin is a small remote cabin that sits 1/2mile off the road above a 5 acre lake on 77 acres of private land. The view from the front porch is amazing! You can sit, unwind, and watch the wildlife with a distant view of Bald Knob Cross. The cabin sits in the heart of Shawnee National Forrest and the Southern IL wine trail. You can enjoy the fire pit while watching the stars, with no distractions from neighbors, traffic, or lights. You can enjoy catch & release fishing from the bank

This spacious cabin features a comfortable King bed, 55” TV above a gas fireplace, and recently had a top to bottom renovation! The spacious back deck features a large hot tub just steps from the back door, hooks for the provided terry cloth robes, and a Weber grill.

There is an association dock area which will require a waiver for a dock on the lake with kayaks. Come enjoy the water or visit nearby Shawnee Wine Trail, Ferne Clyffe State Park, hunting, fishing and much more. Located 6.5 miles off I-24 Exit 7.

This lake cabin is also located near the wine trails and is the perfect getaway to enjoy the lake amenities, hunting, fishing, zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, biking, and enjoying nature at its finest. Newly remodeled with all the modern amenities, you will feel the true lake life as you gaze out at the beautiful lake through many of the floor to ceiling windows in every room. Enjoy dinner on the large deck and watch all the fun on the water. The boat dock will have an empty slip for you to slide your boat right in. Right off the dock is a great place for swimming or just sunbath on the huge Lilly pad.
