Our cottage is located within the gates of Samsons Whitetail Mountain. Nestled near the Shawnee National Forest, allows for the best hiking, biking, and rock climbing locations. Plan a trip to Garden of the Gods or Jackson Falls or Tunnel Hill Trail and spend the evening roasting hotdogs around the fire ring while watching the many animals on the property. The cottage is on a horse farm with a large yard to play in and enjoy the stars at night around a campfire

This cozy tiny home is located a little over one mile off of Interstate 57 and within two miles of Rend Lake. Whether traveling through and needing an easy one night stay or a weekend getaway, this is the place for you. Located in the quiet village of Whittington, the property has great access to the area while providing a peaceful stay on the edge of the country. Our property has multiple rental buildings, but there is plenty of parking space for anyone traveling with a pickup and trailer.

Welcome to the Shawnee and "Corinth"! The structure in which you will be staying was formerly a two room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a residence. The school's name was Corinth, hence the name of this establishment. Accessed by a private outside entrance with a deck, the space consists of a bedroom with a queen bed, a hallway, a full bath and a beverage/ closet nook. The deck is a great place to sit and relax while watching the birds, squirrels, rabbits, chickens, and ducks!
