Aspen Creekside Lodge is located in historic Markleeville, on a year round creek and the perfect place for families that want to relax and enjoy outdoor sports. For your safety we are taking extra precautions during the recent concerns of the Covid -19 virus . Our professional cleaner completely sanitizes the cabin thoroughly between each guests arrival and departure. It's just a short 35 minute drive to Kirkwood and Heavenly Ski resort, beautiful Lake Tahoe and award winning restaurants.

Ruby the Red Caboose

Stay in a REAL train car in historic Virginia City, NV. Authentic 1950s caboose converted into a private guest suite that captures the glory days of train travel. Enjoy the famous 100-mile view from the cupola as you sip your coffee in the morning or your cocktail in the evening. Watch the steam engine (or the wild horses) go by from your private covered deck. It’s the perfect getaway for anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of the Sierras in a serene setting, with the sounds of Mott Creek, beautiful views of the Carson Valley and Sierra Mountains, and easy access to Lake Tahoe, within a 15-20 minute drive. Heavenly Ski Resort is in our backyard! The county's 13% Occupancy Tax is included in the daily rate.

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom.
