A Cooler Summer Home: Retreat to Farm & Forest

Come for the cool mountain evenings; stay for the birdsong and beauty of West Virginia. Vernal Vibe Rise is a small regenerative farm on a beautiful sliver of land banked by the Monongahela National Forest. I’ve been an Airbnb host for over a decade. Please come stay at Lost Croft Cabin: walk in the forest, enjoy the original art, and cook deliciously organic Pantry Package farm meals in your own open kitchen. All respectful guests welcome. Historic Home in Center of Town

A beautiful historical home, walking distance to everything. The Bnb unit is one whole side of an 1835 side-by-side duplex with private entrance and patio. The main rental is set up for four with two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with 1.5 baths. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom may be added upon request for additional fee to accommodate up to 6 people. Comfortably furnished with fully outfitted kitchen and cotton linens. All bedrooms are up stairs.

Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The home is rich in history but recent renovations make it quite comfortable. The large patio is perfect for watching the sunset over Jack Mountain or the moon rise over the Bullpasture. Clear nights are great for stargazing.

Within walking distance to some of Virginia's best outdoor activities. Gym access available upon request. Two night minimum stay required.

Dawson Lake contemporary mountain home & estate

Contemporary home located on 800 acres in the Appalachian Mountains. Incredible views. Enjoy the infinity edge pool, hot tub, sauna, 2,500 sq. ft clubhouse & our private 40 acre lake with sandy beach plus 7 miles of trails, just few minutes walk from the rental house. Excellent Wi-Fi included. Non-refundable pet fee of $250 for each pet. Parties not allowed. I also have another house for rent 5 miles away called Grassy Meadows.

A luxury cabin on the Greenbrier River at Keister only 20 minutes from downtown Lewisburg, the “River House” offers rustic decor but 21st century touches including wi-fi, Direct TV, etc. in a beautiful outdoor setting along the Greenbrier River. The "River House" is about an hour and a half from Snowshoe Ski Resort and from White Water rafting. With electric heat and a cozy fireplace, it is usable in all the seasons.
