Escape the noise and unwind in a peaceful private suite on a country property along the Moira River in Tweed, Ontario. Set on 3.2 acres of riverside land, this cozy guest suite is a quiet place to slow down, explore nature, and enjoy rural Ontario. Wake up to birds, watch the river drift by, and relax under the stars. The suite is in the lower level of my home with a private entrance so guests can come and go freely. Inside you’ll find a comfortable space to relax after exploring the area.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

This is the perfect, year round getaway! A quiet, open area of the Crowe River just up stream of RYLSTONE LAKE with few surrounding cottages. Sit back and relax on the sandy beach, swim or fish right off the the dock in the 15' deep water. Or take a quick paddle to the near by Callaghan's Rapids waterfall. Great for two small families as this deal is a two for one, with a separate full apartment (with kitchen and bath) next to the cottage. Only 10 minutes to Marmora. Lots to do close by.

The Fox Den

The Fox Den is a peaceful year round escape for those looking to put their feet up and enjoy the serenity of cottage livin' with the comforts of a modern home. Ideal place for couples and families with children of all ages. The home is located on Oak Lake which is a 2 hours and 20 minutes drive from Toronto and 3 hours from Ottawa. We welcome all those who treat the space as their own and looking for some peace and quiet (no parties please). Enjoy your stay!

Pretty Stoney Lake Cabin Suite

Guests have their own cozy studio apartment, which is private and located on the ground floor with their own entrance. It does Not include the entire cabin. Has a kitchenette with BBQ outside. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct). Perfect getaway any time of the year.

Big Bear Cabin - Modern Creekside A-frame

Come visit our A-frame cabin in the woods on Eels Creek! I built this place myself over 18 months with some generous help from my friends and supervision from wife (in the form of naps). The area is known for its snowshoe and cross-country ski trails. At night we welcome you to cozy up by the outdoor firepit and enjoy the stars. Lots of firewood is provided with your rental. In the warmer months there is lots of hiking and paddling to do.

Roslin Hall is the ideal country retreat offering quiet and solitude in a pastoral setting. By night sit out back and be mesmerized by the clear starry nights and by day take a drive to PEC wine country. Or just relax and unwind in front of the gas fireplace while prepping a meal in the gourmet kitchen. Please tell us about your group when you request to book. Please note there is a camera above the front door for security purposes.

Licence No. ST-2019-0357 Welcome to our guest loft at "thecountycricket". I am so sorry but our space is not suitable for infants or children. Our property is 34 acres with 6 acres fenced. We are 10 minutes from Picton Main Street. The loft is 1,200 square foot open concept space with a full coffee station and a cooks kitchen. We live in a quiet street in the country close to town and vineyards, breweries and cider houses.
