A grill area and stone tables are right on the lakeshore. In front to the train station and to public transport the place is 1 hour away from Milan city and Malpensa airport, with direct train connection. A small indoor pool with a hot sauna cabin are available when the outdoor pool closes during cold season.

The characteristic village of Arogno, included in the inventory of Swiss settlements to be protected (ISOS), is located in the green of Val Mara in a spectacular panoramic position. It is about a quarter of an hour's drive from Lugano and Mendrisio. Located at the foot of the Monte Sighinola in the western part of the Monte Generoso massif, it is the ideal starting point for many interesting excursions. The picturesque roads of the valley are also very popular with cyclists and motorcyclists.
