You can go Bass fishing (additional cost) , sit around a fire, bring along your bike and enjoy farm life. Rent the Cano(additional cost) , go for 5.8 km adventure walk.. Picnic at the dam. Mothers and daughters go for walks, book the day spa, have a pick nick at the dam. Play board games. Kids bday sleep overs or a group of friends just wanting to relax. All this you will be able to do at Die Melkstal.

Boschfontein Mountain Lodge Entire Lodge (4 units)

Boschfontein Mountain Lodge is a beautiful double storey sandstone lodge with stunning views of the Caledon River Valley and the Maluti Mountains, situated 18km from Ficksburg, on the Ficksburg – Fouriesburg road. This family run self-catering lodge has 4 units and can accommodate up to 18 people. Each comfortable unit has a bathroom with a basin, shower and toilet. The shared living areas include the kitchen, braai areas, bar, lounge and verandas.Shared living areas and units are cleaned daily.

The GardenView @Umpukane

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay@Umpukane working farm. The unit has a spacious main bedroom with an extra singlebed. The living area is an openplan with a view on the garden with a daysingle bed. The second room has 2 singlebeds with slide door to the garden. Guests can explore farm by foot, bike or car. They can enjoy a refreshing swim in the Kloof dam about 2km from the unit. You can also try to catch and release some bass. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Die Koeistalle

Tucked away on the edge of Rosendal, Die Koeistalle is a lovingly restored guesthouse as old as the town itself. The open-plan living area, once a working cowshed when Rosendal was still a farm, is one of the oldest surviving buildings in town. As Rosendal came to being, the old shed was transformed into a brickworks, supplying bricks to the first houses in Rosendal. Today, its stone walls and timber beams stand beside newer additions, creating a seamless blend of heritage and comfort.

Franshoek Farm - The Stables Cottage

The Stables, is a basic and rustic self-catering cottage situated on Franshoek Farm, in the Witterberg Mountains, near Ficksburg. The cottage is located on the sandstone bluff, over-looking a magnificent view of the Valley. As farm stay guests, you enjoy a fully equipped self-catering kitchen which enjoins a central living space with a fireplace. There is a braai and central firepit. Please be advised that the 2 rooms are seperated and not conjoined in the 1 unit.

Sûr - The Herenberg - Rosendal

On the edge of the little hamlet called Rosendal you will find Sûr where you can escape everyday life in luxury. Relax and enjoy nature amongst birdsong and nature scapes! The space Sûr is an open plan pavilion style house with unlimited mountain views offering a private nature experience Enjoy a refreshing dip in the corrugated iron dam in the garden, relax with a book or have a drink and some good food while staring at the exquisite views from the deck.

Luxury apartment Clocolan

Beautiful apartment with wooden floors and high ceilings. It has a view of the Maluti mountains and of the surrounding crop fields. Fully equiped kitchen with a wooden deck and a braai area. On our Guest farm we mainly farm with Essential Oils. There is an interesting tour and shop on the farm where guests can buy an assortment of products that we produce.
