Relax at a one-of-a-kind airy beach house on Lake Superior! Natural light illuminates the house from dawn to dusk! Enjoy sunsets, walk on the incredibly soft sandy beach, take a dip in Superior, view the Northern Lights, relax on the patio for dinner, and make bonfires with family and friends! Our location is also ideal for snowmobile and ORV riders, bikers as the trail is across the road from our driveway! Two trailer parking spots are available. Anytime of year, you will enjoy this retreat!

Da Knob on Lake Independence

Enjoy beautiful Lake Independence 25-30 miles NW of Marquette, MI with a 3-bedroom lake cottage right on the southside of the lake with a sandy beach (217 ft) and dock. Pontoon not included, but there is an open boat slip on our dock (mid-June through mid-October). 2 kayaks are included. Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Random Point: Apartment Tree House

Random Point is a quiet, isolated oasis on a private, 300 ft beach cove on Lake Superior with a trout pond and 10 wooded acres. Both rentals and the outdoor sauna have stunning views of the Lake. This enchanted location is 5 miles from downtown Mqt with easy access to the University, restaurants, shops, hiking & biking trails. Enjoy this lakeside cabin just five minutes from downtown Marquette. Enjoy stunning views along miles of open sand beach and dunes. Nestled amongst towering red pine and white pine. Let the waves of Lake Superior lull you to sleep at night. Depending on the season use the paddle boards, canoe or just walk the shoreline. Sit around the campfire and watch the sun set over the lake. There is a small pond for ice skating in winter (when conditions are right).

You can sit or grill on the deck, or go down the stairs to the beach for lounging, swimming, playing, walking, or a bonfire. The location of this property is ideal--it is just a short drive into Marquette, 40 minutes to Pictured Rocks, and 1/2 mile from the Ojibwa Casino. You'll get the feel of a UP camp on a private beach, with the convenience of a city nearby.
