Modern accommodation for two, featuring a private bathroom and kitchenette with kettle, toaster, hotplate and microwave-perfect for starting or ending the day with a cuppa. Fully insulated and warm year-round with a heat pump. Family friendly; our pet dog is securely kept in a large run when not at home. Easy secure parking directly outside the garage door. One set of towels and basic toiletries provided.

Longforde Cottage

Welcome to Longforde, a very special, charming and beautifully furnished cottage attached to our main home but completely independent with your own access and landscaped to ensure your absolute privacy. Set on 4 acres of stunning gardens, each room has private rural views of the countryside and Tararua ranges. We are located at the end of one of Greytowns most beautiful streets, a walkable 2km into the shops and cafes. As well, we are on a popular walking and biking route to the Waiohine river.

Beach front - unit , steps from beach, 2 bedroom

Not only are you beachfront but around the corner from the golf club and tennis courts. This wee gem is one of five holiday bachs, so respect of the other owners is premium, as is yours. You have your own very private, sun drenched sheltered deck with a bbq provided. A queen bed in one room, and a double and single in the other. The kitchen has all your essentials and even a dishwasher. There is a TV with a Chromecast, children's games, toys and videos are plentiful. Walk in and just relax.

Bumblebee Cottage Greytown

We had this cottage purpose built 20 years ago and have furnished and appointed it with love and care. One queen bedroom, one king single bedroom and Annexe 3 m away with double bed, electricity and linking deck to Bumblebee. Town water, gas water heating, in a large tree-clad garden, you have privacy + space + parking. New heatpump. Water feature. GHD! Electric blankets. Unsuitable for children under 3. Dogs must be on leash outside as we are rural. No cleaning fees. All linen supplied.

Oden Estate is working farmlet, yet only 3 minutes to Masterton, 6 minutes to Carterton and gateway to Mt Holdsworth. Set in tranquil surroundings down a tree-lined drive, with the majestic Tararuas as a back drop, with a stream at your back door and it's just a few minutes walk to the river. Our philosophy is sustainability and thus the flat is totally off-grid with a composting toilet. Oden Estate is great for those wishing to relax and unwind or as a central base for the many activities.

Walnut Cottage, a rural idyll

Relax 10 minutes from town in a charming country cottage with all mod cons. Close enough to amenities to explore town but quiet enough to see and hear the tui's, kereru and Ruru (morepork owls) at night. There is a creek running through the bottom paddock for kids to splash in or explore for eels while you enjoy the sun on the patio. It is a great spot for a romantic getaway or a family break in the country. There are lots of walks around, animals to see and the tranquility is unbeatable.

Escape to this loveable 1890s cottage on a 2.6‑hectare organic garden estate. Sleeps 6 in 3 cosy bedrooms, perfect for creative retreats, family weekends or nature lovers—yet just a short drive from town. It has a wood fire, heaters and electric blankets. The cottage is well decorated and equipped with essentials. Bach living in the Dunes - stunning views

Location, location, location! This 70's era bach is located right in the sand dunes, with gorgeous views from the top floor. Initial entry is via the front door, and the lift takes you to the second floor. (There are no internal stairs) This is an original NZ bach and requires you to PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS THANKYOU. (I can supply if you're travelling) There are 3 bedrooms, 2 double beds upstairs and a queen, and 2 children's bunks downstairs.
