We fell in love w/Sargent in 2020 & bought Salt Creek Retreat in 2022. After almost a year of renovations we are ready to share our family retreat. Close to Houston, this private oasis is a great place for lounging, fishing, boating, kayaking and playing in the cool waters of the river. From the wrap around deck, there are no visible neighbors and breathtaking views of the river. The screened porch accessible from the living room is a great place to unwind. Welcome to Palacios! Enjoy fishing, sight seeing, bird watching, boating or just sitting on the deck catching the breeze! The house if fully equipped with everything you need from cooking to bathing & laundry. The upstairs is a complete 2 bedroom 2 bath house and the downstairs is known as "The Camp" with one bedroom (3 twin beds) & one bathroom. Come to the Bay and stay awhile! May 2023 dock lights unavailable. July 2024 Dock was damaged from the hurricane. Pet Fee $195. 2 Kayaks.

This mini resort is a peaceful fun place for adults and children and of course the pups. There is 27 ft above ground pool with a wrap around deck for some fun and play after a day on the sandy beach. Lawn furniture surrounds a firepit at the pool area along with a cabana for serving picnic outdoors. There is outdoor games upon request also. Joe and Grace are the resorts horses that love being petted and fed carrots and apples.
