Alexandra Cottage is a secret hideaway in the heart of the ancient market town of Penryn, offering a luxury retreat in one of Cornwall's most beautiful and bustling coastal areas. The stone-built, slate-roofed cottage has a king-sized bed, an ensuite shower room, and a sumptuously stylish open-plan sitting room/kitchen with a woodburner for cosy nights in after bracing walks on the coastal path. A sunny terrace provides the perfect spot for alfresco dinning with a gas BBQ and wood fired pizza oven. Only 5 minutes drive is the harbour town of Falmouth, with its independent shops and art galleries, beaches and the world-famous National Maritime Museum. It's also within easy reach of the Helford River and its glorious sailing waters, hidden coves and fabulous walking routes. The cottage is tucked in the corner of a large walled garden, across the lawn from a beautiful double-fronted stone house. Alexandra Cottage has its own parking and separate entrance.

Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. There are many lovely spots to enjoy; meadow for sundowners, private 1 mile walk - perfect for dog owners, fenced garden with barbecue and fire pit for star gazing.

The Apple Loft is a beautifully converted cottage in the grounds of Tremayne House, providing accommodation for two adults. The Apple Loft has a private courtyard to the back, perfect for long meals on sunny evenings or dozing in the sun. The spacious bedroom and shower room are on the ground floor, with an open plan kitchen/living space on the first floor. The kitchen provides a great space for creating some delicious dishes, while the comfy sofa and log burner make evenings even more cozy.

Hatherley is a light-filled Edwardian cottage in a pretty village on the edge of the glorious sheltered coves of the Helford river, 15 mins walk to a sandy beach and moments from fabulous Falmouth and Cornwall’s best tropical gardens. Built for a ship’s captain away at sea it has big bay windows in the living room and kitchen. Rumour has it the builders only showed him pictures of the front, because the back... isn’t quite there! It is a quirky tardis with no straight lines. You’ll love it!

It is close to the safe bathing and surfing beach at Praa Sands and only a 5-minute drive to the coast path car park at Rinsey Cove. The beautiful harbour village of Porthleven is a foodies' paradise and is only a 7-minute drive away. The cottage is well placed for the many attractions that West Cornwall has to offer. Caervallack Garden Cottage is a beautiful two person holiday cottage set within a private 540m2 walled garden .The Helford river is within walking distance and there are 13 different beaches a short drive away . Its a quiet and particularly beautiful part of Cornwall. The garden has featured in most of the garden/house magazines over the last 20 years, and in most recently in the book "Secret Gardens of Cornwall" 2023. Sorry we don't accept pets or children.

Peaceful Barn with Sea Views near Falmouth

Keynvor is a bright, airy barn conversion in a small farm complex which formerly belonged to the National Trust. The farmhouse dates from the 1650s and the barns from the 19th century. The garden affords fabulous ocean views, and is a sun trap when the weather co-operates. There is a gentle 10-15 minute walk through woodland to the nearest beach, which is on the South West Coast Path, and it is possible to walk to Falmouth or Helford Passage along the coast.
