Griffin - The Lake Superior Riverboat

Channel your inner Mark Twain. Read, rock, and relax on the water, at the foot of a retired Northern Pacific Ore dock. The Griffin is a functioning riverboat, driven by paddle wheels, originally modeled after historic Mississippi steamboats. It is located at a mom and pop boat yard, which is quite different from a fancy marina. Work happens here. Metal is welded here. Engines are torn apart and put back together here. Friends become family here. Come and become a part of the Griffin’s story!

North Woods Lake Cabin, Pontoon Rental

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located lake cabin. Perfect for both summer and winter enjoyment. Located near the snowmobile and 4 wheeler trails. Enjoy Big Sandy Lake ice fishing in the winter and fishing or boating all summer. Enjoy a secluded get away nestled in the woods with great restaurants minutes away. For winter enjoyment. Plenty of room to leave your snowmobile trailer at the top of the driveway. The driveway is steep, a 4 wheel drive is recommended in the winter

Lake Cabin

My lake cabin is on a private lake with no public access (Please note, I do not have a boat landing for guests to bring their own boats due to the steep hill). It is near numerous snowmobile/ATV trails, many beautiful lakes, and the Chippewa National Forest. There is 250 feet of lakeshore and over 30 acres of hunting land across County Road 65. The cabin is on over 4 acres; plenty of room to relax. There is a boathouse, dock, two kayaks, a small boat & motor, a fire pit and gas grill.

Cozy Modern Cabin on the Kettle River with Hot Tub

This modern cabin is located on 390 feet of the beautiful Kettle River. The river is well known for its great tubing, canoeing and kayaking. There is a gas fireplace, hot tub and WiFi. The newer hot tub can seat 6. Large expansive deck with seating. Bon-fire pit and a large gas grill. The cabin is updated and very comfortable. Linens are Pottery Barn and Kitchen Aid appliances! Washer and dryer. Seven acres of woods with deer and bird feeders for the wildlife. This cabin is amazing!!

Escape into the forest at the Ursa Minor cabin. Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Our Nordic inspired A-Frame is known as the Stylle Hytte which is Norwegian for ‘Quiet Cabin’. Here you can take in 5 secluded acres of woods with trails winding down to the private riverfront. Only an hour north of the Twin Cities, enjoy modern conveniences like WIFI (60mbps), smart TV, complete kitchen, full bathroom, a bedroom and loft both with queen beds, a cozy living room with a real wood fireplace and an outdoor electric barrel sauna. Muskie Lake Cabin

Entire cottage to yourself with a magnificent lake view. We have 315 feet of lakeshore located on 4 acres on Island Lake. We have a private dock. Our 900 square ft cottage has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, two bedrooms, bathroom, and a couch that opens up into a bed. A fire pit is available, ( wood furnished), along with a canoe and 2 kayaks You can fish off the dock or bring your own boat. A pontoon boat is available for rent. We will except two dogs.

Marlin's on Minnewawa

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The house is located on a few acres of land with plenty of room for trailer parking or outside activities. The lake lot is across a small quite road and is only shared between our guests and us. Lake Minnewawa is a wonderful fishing and reactional lake. Our lot is fairly flat for easy walking to and from the lake. Marlin's is located about an hour from Duluth, Brainerd, Grand Rapids and Mora.
