One of the earlier homes built in the Ranges, this unique century old Mountain Ash Log Cabin has been extended and updated over the years to create an enchanting haven to call home whether it’s for a night, a weekend or forever. One of the three remaining log cabins built by pioneer Jack Dodd (another being Kelly’s Hotel in Mt Dandenong). Often, you’ll be above the clouds or among them adding to the cathartic ambience. The romantic log-lined lounge hosts a cozy wood fire with a glass of love.

Nestled 300 meters from the mountain village of Sassafras, Chudleigh Park Cottages offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Set on a six-acre property atop the State Forest Victoria. Private balconies are perched on the edge of a cool ecosystem with towering ferns and forest views. Klara's Studio is our brand-new open plan studio at the Fernglen Forest Retreat. A perfect romantic couples retreat. Featuring a slow combustion fireplace and corner spa/shower with huge double-glazed windows looking onto private forest views. Studio is self contained, offering a split heating/cooling system, a well equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, a queen size bed and sofa bed in the common space as well as a seperate toilet. The veranda provides outdoor seating with forest views.
