Whispering Oak was lovingly built in 1908 by the Mothershed family. It is adorned by a massive Oak tree that holds a swing. We have divided the house into two private apartments. Secret Hideaway is on the right. There are 3 spacious rooms. Living/dining with adjoining kitchenette, large bedroom with closet with en-suite luxurious bathroom with walk in shower. There a lovely front porch with swing that provides amazing sunset views and a beautiful backyard with large covered portico.

Welcome to your home away from home in a historic downtown high-rise! Right outside the building is Court Square park w Victorian water fountain and trollies on Main Street. There's a Walgreens and several small convenient stores to help stock your fridge if you do choose to make use of the full kitchen, but of course you must try Rendezvous BBQ before you leave! There is a coin laundry on-site and also FREE use of an off site gym.

Pegasus Lair, Midtown No PetFee, No Chores

Pegasus Lair is an upstairs unit. Spacious, 1200 ft. Well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. We live next door, and are generally available. Only 7 minutes by auto from downtown. Close to most attractions, entertainment and interstate. Street parking easily available in front of unit. Pet friendly. The home was built in 1907, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Please check photos for more details.

Our place is less than a mile to the heart of Overton Square, which means an easy walk to restaurants, nightlife, live theatre and music and tons of family-friendly activities. It's also under a quarter mile to Overton Park - home of the Memphis Zoo, Memphis College of Art and the Brooks Museum. Ten minutes to downtown and Beale Street and 15 minutes to the airport and Graceland.
