Nearby is Meramec Caverns, Onondaga Cave, antiquing, restaurants, breweries, wineries and small zoos. Within 1 hours drive is St. Louis, the Katy trail for bicycling. Enjoy a relaxing comfy stay where deer are frequently seen.

Modern Country Farm House with beautiful views

Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place to stay. Located just 6 miles south of Owensville, Mo this newly renovated farm house will provide you the countryside escape you have been looking for with no shortage of amenities. This 2 story farm house was originally constructed in 1888 as a multi family boarding house before the Kreter family purchased it in the 1930’s. In 2021 we made the decision to completely restore the house and bring it to its modern day glory.

Escape to this charming "camping" cabin at Cobblestone River Resort and Lodge, perfect for a relaxing retreat or outdoor adventure. Kayaks and canoes are available for a fee. The cabin has a minifridge, coffee maker, and charcoal grill. Meal take out and/or cabin delivery is available.

The cabin inside has a very minimalistic design featuring on the first floor an electric fireplace, air conditioner, table, refrigerator, leather futon couch, kitchenette with a hand crank water pump sink, axe throwing and porta-potty bathroom.
