Newly built cottage located in the country. Enjoy amazing views from a covered front porch as you rock in comfortable rocking chairs. Fully furnished and beautifully decorated to make your stay comfortable and delightful. Memory foam mattresses for wonderful sleep and a kitchen for cooking if desired. The kitchen is clean and simple with granite countertops. The living room is open and spacious. The bathroom sports a soothing jacuzzi tub soak while the jets relax muscles relax in the multiple jets. There is a dedicated washer and dryer. This apartment is attached to the house but there is no shared indoor space.

Pappy’s Roost (Old Town Vibe!)

Pappy’s Roost is vintage and is up the street from a railroad track that has locomotives coming through very slowly because of the tight confines of Harrodsburg. The track is not extremely close, but you can definitely see the train when standing on the sidewalk in front of The Roost. The Roost still can offer sound sleep at night because the proximity is not near enough to the tracks to be startling or disturbing to sleep. Pappy’s has been restored and has every amenity!

Paradise Camp Cabin

As my husband (Fred) and I were living in Lexington, and still working. We took every opportunity to come down to our lake house. Now that we have moved into a house on the property we thought other people might enjoy the peace and quiet, the swimming and fishing. We have a dock that we let our renters use. Bring your boat or sea-doo. There are several marinas nearby where you can put in. We look forward to hosting you and your family and pets.

Big Red Stables is happy to offer the Bunkhouse to visitors who want to ride horses, travel to nearby bourbon distilleries, go to the races or events at the Kentucky Horse Park, or just get away from it all on a third generation family farm.
