The resort has a spa pool (10.00 am to 8.00 pm, sorry no BYO drinks) & a restaurant that operates during the winter season, plus a tennis court, BBQ's and children play area. We are independent of the resort business so can offer what we believe is a better, different service with the same facilities.

If your view is to have a great night's sleep to ski, whitewater raft, fish, mountain bike or hike then this is the place for you. An hours drive from Christchurch and close to skiing at Mt Hutt. We know you'll love everything the outdoors has to offer from Methven. The resort also has a spa pool, restaurant in peak season & tennis court.

The Annexe, Methven is close to Mt Hutt Ski Field, and Ōpuke Thermal Pools & Spa. You’ll love The Annexe’s facilities and comfy beds! There are 2 upstairs bedrooms - 1 king bed in one bedroom, and 2 king singles with a third rollaway bed that can be set up on the upstairs landing area for a 5th guest - message us if required. The Annexe is good for families with kids and couples. Guests can use our hard-surface tennis court (racquets and balls supplied) and take a dip in our hot tub.

Creekside Camp -Character Camping in Geraldine

Situated on the Inland Scenic Route, less than 2 hours from Christchurch, our unique off-grid camp hosts two character huts on wheels alongside an outdoor kitchen, camp fire, outdoor shower and fire-heated baths under the stars. Please note, in dry & windy conditions it is not safe to light the baths or camp fires. While this is disappointing for you we ask for your understanding as this one is beyond our control.

Sitting on the back of Mount Hutt - a world renowned skiing destination, it has breathtaking views of the Rakaia river, mountain ranges and of it's own 5 acre lake.
