We know you'll love everything the outdoors has to offer from Methven. The resort also has a spa pool, restaurant in peak season & tennis court.

The Rakaia river and Glenariffe Stream are close-by for fishing. Plenty of walking (Te Araroa trail and DOC tracks) and biking in the area as well as a Hot Tub & WiFi at the cottage. Methven township is a 50km drive with cafes, restaurants, good shopping, Opuke Hot Pools and biking at the Mt Hutt bike park.

Situated on the Inland Scenic Route, less than 2 hours from Christchurch, our unique off-grid camp hosts two character huts on wheels alongside an outdoor kitchen, camp fire, outdoor shower and fire-heated baths under the stars. Please note, in dry & windy conditions it is not safe to light the baths or camp fires. While this is disappointing for you we ask for your understanding as this one is beyond our control.
