Creekside Retreat at the Jewel Vinsota

This garden apartment is tucked into a hillside above a creek, along the Jewel Vinsota Sculpture Trail. Your host/gallery curators live upstairs. The “Artist’s Guesthouse” is next door. The private entrance is down a stone-stepped path. Perfect for 2 w/ the queen bed but room for 3 w/ the living room futon. Fully equipped kitchen. Welcome, I am Debbie a busy Mama/Grandma with a bunch of millennial children (plus five grandchildren and 5 granddogs). I am excited to be able to offer my beautifully designed space close to Dickinson, the War College, Carlisle Fairgrounds, Appalachian Trail, Harrisburg and Gettysburg. You have your own off-street parking, private entrance and a large bedroom/sitting room with full private bathroom and a microwave/ mini-refrigerator for your convenience.

The Enchanting Lavender House

The Lavender House is an enchanting pre-Civil War farmhouse nestled in the middle of a working 600 acre farm. It was remodeled with love 18 years ago and became a cozy family home, where children grew and memories were created. Full of charm, The Lavender House boasts hand chosen antiques, beautiful wood beams, original hard wood flooring and a wood burning fireplace to warm your winter nights. Edgewater Lodge

A perfect place to get away from the stresses of life to relax and unwind . You Can have a seat on the large porch overlooking the Conodoguinet creek and enjoy watching nature , watch your kids playing and splashing in the creek , make dinner with the BBQ grill on the back patio or be just plain lazy ! There is no tv at this place , our goal is to have our guests enjoy nature and in this way be refreshed and ready to go back to work.

Charlie’s Place-Beautiful, quiet 2-bedroom cabin.

Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Colonial Era Spring House

A unique and private mountain top colonial era spring house, with two springs flowing thru the basement. Originally the site of a tannery in the 1700s. Here you can relax, recharge, and rejuvenate. We celebrate all four seasons where you can enjoy Mother Nature's ever changing scenery at 1300' above sea level with fresh mountain air. Our area offers many things to do, or you may choose to stay in and do nothing at all.

Cottage on our horse farm

"Dream on Farm" has a cottage that is cozy, airy and very spacious. It is very comfortable for 2 and can accommodate 6. Full kitchen, living area and bathroom. Bring your horses and/or dogs. 25 min. from Gettysburg, 5 min. from local golfing. 1 acre fenced in for monitored dog run area. Great internet and smart TV. No cleaning or dog Fees so we ask you to be considerate. Thank you.

The Wrens Nest

This cozy home with covered front porch and open back deck is a great place to enjoy country sunrises or relaxed afternoons! An affordable & comfy place to spend the weekend or while enjoying the area attractions. With high-speed Internet it has made a great place to stay for business people & traveling nurses. It’s a place you can feel perfectly “at home” in. 🙂
