Get away from it all at Dewerk's Ranch. Forty-four miles north of Reno on US Highway 395. Escape the busy world to enjoy the tranquility of the Eastern Sierras. Experience the wilderness with the comforts of a real home, surrounded by thousands of acres of national forest. A 7/10 mile gravel road to the house removes you from the rest of the world. Sunsets, sunrises and the night sky are amazing! It's an 84 year-old house but solid and tidy inside. Caretaker lives on site to assist as needed.

This unique apartment is within walking distance to the Bizz Johnson Trail, as well as Uptown Susanville, and is a space to relax for the weekend, bike the local trails, or explore the surrounding natural areas of Northern California. Apartment has a separate private entrance around the back side of the main house, with rock stairs through the rose and lavender gardens and views of the mature vineyard. Inside features a single BR studio with a kitchenette, washer/dryer unit, and full bathroom.

In Gold Country

Cozy private space to relax in and take a nice break from all the outdoor fun. Complimentary Wine, Craft Beer, coffee, and other beverages. The dining table overlooks the pine forest, there’s a lounge room with a large comfy sectional couch and a vinyl record player with records to enjoy! Fire TV in the bedroom set up for streaming, and a DVD player. Satellite WiFi works well but occasionally glitches. Has been fine for guests working remote, but most are enjoying events or the outdoors:)

Hiker's Retreat Cabin

Cute cabin for two! Set in the midst of Plumas National Forest, Paxton is very secluded. Walking distance to the beautiful Feather River and our own private sand beach. Hiking, swimming and tubing. Close to Lake Almanor, Bucks Lake, the quaint towns of Quincy and Belden, snowshoeing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. We also have a Little Tree Library with books for all ages, or little games to play. Plus, we include many lawn games right here on the historic Paxton Lodge property.

The quaint 1bd features a queen bed, WiFi, work space, and an 80in projector with HD display and Bose speaker for a movie-like experience. We updated the entire interior - new plumbing, electrical, kitchen and bath. The result is a crisp white modern one-bedroom that provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Reno.

The Top Story

The Top Story is a cozy and unique apartment located on the second floor of an early 20th century farmhouse. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath unit with a full kitchen and seating area . Great space to unplug! This rustic farmhouse chic space is incredibly charming and authentic to the area; it also includes access to the front and backyard, sun soaked and full of flowers with an organic garden and seasonal pumpkin patch. Guests can star gaze while enjoying the fire pit or outside dining area.

The Foley Nest

Cozy up in this 2 room suite with attached bath, complete with private patio entrance, living area, large kitchenette, and dedicated parking spot. This suite is attached to our home but separated by a locked door. We are a short drive (5 min) from downtown, 8 min. to the airport, 35 - 40 min from several popular ski resorts. We are next to the Washoe Public Golf Course in one of the most beautiful, safe, and walkable neighborhoods in Reno. We offer EV charging upon request.

The Cabin - Creekside tranquility!

This creekside Cabin (300sqft) escape is a STUDIO nestled in the forest but with all the city amenities. Complete with a queen bed and a full size bed in an upper loft (wrought iron ladder access, see photos to confirm able to climb it! This is NOT the primary bed.) Full bathroom with tub/shower, recently renovated full kitchen with granite counter tops, and a flat-screen TV with WiFi. A great escape from the Bay Area (San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose 4.5hrs); Sacramento 3 hrs

Meyers Ranch Cabin - Hot Spring - Patio - Farm

Words and pictures don't do this place justice. This beautiful cabin, with pine interior and gorgeous views, has its own lawn and private patio. You will have access to our hot spring and swimming reservoir (the hot spring requires 4-wheel-drive in inclement weather.) The ranch is a great place for hiking, star gazing, relaxing at the water's edge or enjoying the country life. The perfect place to stay and unwind, or regroup for your next adventure.
