Magical, grade II listed 18th century traditional Lakeland cottage set within 5 acres of woodlands, leading directly to 2 private beaches on Lake Windermere. Relax in a peaceful, natural environment, ideal for friends, families, wild swimmers, cyclists, paddle boarders, hikers and for cosy evenings by the fireplace. Separately charged are a luxurious hot tub, perfect after a hard days hike and a wood fired barrel sauna with cold shower. A tuck shop, art classes and treatments are also available.

The Waters Lodge is positioned on the stunning Port Haverigg Marina lake in Millom, Cumbria. All Guests & owners have sole use of the lake and can bring their own boats, kayaks, water boards etc. During the spring/summer months guests can book onto the water park on the lake. On site restaurant/bar, and award winnning Hodbarrow Nature Reserve & near beach. HOT TUB on decking overlooking the lake. You can walk Black Combe and be rewarded with stunning views, or try wakeboarding, sea fishing or go horse riding on the beach.

Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.
