Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Broughton Beck just 40 minutes to the centre of the Lake District, the Stable is a peaceful retreat away from the crowds and is a perfect base to explore the Southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay Peninsulas. Situated on the lower ground floor of a traditional 200 year old Cumbrian Bank Barn the Stable has charm and character yet modern day comforts. Nearby Ulverston, has regular festivals and many independent shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive. Haverigg is on the fringe of the Lakes, with Coniston being just a short drive away (approx 35 minutes). The property is close to Hodbarrow which is an RSPB Nature Reserve and it is also on the coast with some stunning dog friendly beaches to walk along. You can walk Black Combe and be rewarded with stunning views, or try wakeboarding, sea fishing or go horse riding on the beach.

Surrounded by fields & 500 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Ulverston. It is situated 10 minutes from the start of the Cumbria Way walk.

Excellent location with pubs, restaurants and public transport all within 100 metre walk. Hodbarrow nature reserve and some fabulous beaches are all within a 25minute walk.
